From The Desk Of
Perry "The Ice Cream
Guy"
Friday, 8:23 A.M.
Dear Ice Cream Vendors,
If you have finally decided that enough is
enough and you want to tell your boss at that soul crushing excuse
of a job to "Go to Hell," then this letter could be the most
important you ever read.
Are you sick and tired of working hard and
dealing with idiot "know-it-all" supervisors just to get paid in
scraps and an occasional pink slip?
Do you crave a better life but don't want to
get stuck in an office?
Are you desperate for a job that doesn't break
your spirit every time you clock in?
Do you want a real business that gives you
control over your own income and life?
What if I told you that
Americans spend over 2.4 billion on novelty ice cream products every single year?
Give me five minutes and I'll tell you why
owning an ice cream truck could be your secret to more wealth, a
better job, and most important, freedom from the normal 9 to 5 rat
race and the happiness that comes with that freedom.
Now,
if you're looking to start a
business. The Ice Cream Business
is....
Plus, this business has a lot of
added benefits like:
"The Greatest Business in
the
World"
Most people don't think
about ice cream when they try to think of a great job that could
also make them a lot of money, and that's the way many ice cream
truck operators who are making major cash hand over fist want to
keep it. The ice cream truck business might not be the biggest
business in the world compared to Microsoft, but it's a LOT bigger
than most people think, and there's plenty of money to
be had.
In
fact, I'm a normal guy who in the beginning wasn't running his business well
and on average probably still made $70-$100 a day.
But this book doesn't
teach you to be average. I'm going to show you How I made $150-$250 of profit a day.
For four to five hours of work or less, that's $50 an hour or
more on a good day, and all for selling ice cream and making
children smile!
By the hour
it's a very
good paying job, if you put in the work.
I love the ice cream truck business. In fact, if I was starting
over today from scratch and I had just a little bit of money in my
pocket, I would set up my own ice cream truck.

|
"Make
Money Your First Day"
I promise you, you can make money your
very first day. I've never opened an ice cream truck anywhere
that didn't make sales the very first day I was opened. And you can
make back, 100% of your investment in less than 30 days. I've
made it back in as little as a week in some locations.
The
ice cream truck business can be started
on a shoe string budget. I'll show you how to get started in the ice
cream truck business for way less than most people.
Now I'm not saying you're going to have
the "Cadillac" of equipment and everything that you need, but you
can certainly get started there. Then you can purchase new equipment
and more supplies out of profits, not out of your pocket when you
start.
I would really suggest that everyone
start with minimal start up costs. It's so much easier and so
much faster. And while you're learning you're going to make a
few mistakes anyway so it's better that you make it with small cheap
or used equipment.
You can always move up to the Cadillac
stuff after you've made a few bucks to put in your pocket.
The
ice cream business lets you be your
own boss. Unlike almost any other business in the world the ice
cream business is completely portable.
You can open when you want, close
when you want, move when you want, and sell to who you want to sell
to. It's completely up to you. And you can change in a moment's
notice.
Now, just think of another business that
has that flexibility. There aren't many. You get to be your own
boss. You call the shots and you're in control of your own future and
your own destiny.
In the
ice cream business you can set your
own hours. If you want to work mornings, afternoons, lunches, or
just weekends, you can. You make the decisions yourself.
Plus...
"There Are Lots of Ways
to Get started"
Most
people start with one truck. Depending on whether or not you're
going to move on to having many trucks, and depending whether you
want amazing part time income, or if you want to move up to be a big
time operator, the sky is the limit. You can go as far as you
want to take it.
How would I do today if
I had to start over? Well knowing all the info that I'm going to
share with you in this course, I would be really down if I didn't
pocket $200 cash on an average day.
That's great part time scratch, and better than many people make in
a full time job. During the summer that means if I was going to
work roughly 25 days this month and make $200 a day on average,
that's $5,000 for one month, cash in my pockets!
That's good profit because the ice cream truck business has great
profit margins.
How big can the ice cream business
get for you?
There's a flea market in
south Texas called the Canton, Texas Flea Market. They have 500,000
people come through on a Saturday afternoon. And there's one
vendor now that has four ice cream trucks set up.
During that weekend,
he'll do $15,000 or $20,000 in ice cream sales. That's a pretty big
operation. You've got to be prepared for that sort of thing and have
an alternative power source, if you're going to set up for those,
but I will show you how to do it.
The
ice cream truck business can be as big as you want it to be.
Best
of all, you have a high profit business that makes a lot of kids
happy. Have some fun. Have some fun with these kids, have enjoy
your experience with them. And you really don't need a lot of skills
other than that. I'll teach you the rest.
"Why
Ice Cream Is Better Than Blue Chip
Stocks"
This is a high ROI business, in
other words, your return on investment is just crazy. Normally, I
can pay for a complete single truck operation in less than 60 days.
That's worst case scenario. I've paid for them in as little as a
month and in a few cases in as little as a few weeks.
But most of the time I can recoup
back 100% of the investment that I put in my ice cream truck
business in less than 60 days.
That's a
6,000%
annual return, Beats the hell out of the S&P or real
estate Huh... Bite me Trump! hehe.
With This kind of R.O.I. |
I'll even show you ways to make
money from your ice cream truck on the days that you don't want to go
to work it. One of the other big reasons I love this business is
because ice cream trucks are so sellable.
Once
you've built your business and
established a location you can sell the ice cream truck for usually 10
to 20 times what you have invested in it.
But
don't be so quick, sometimes you wouldn't want to. If your business is making three, four, five or six hundred dollars
a day, even if you get ten, twenty or thirty
thousand dollars for it might not be the smartest thing to do if
that business making you ten
thousand dollars a month.
I'll tell you exactly how much money you
can make in this business. That's another big point. I'll tell you
how much money you can make in the ice cream business. My average
sale exceeds $? a day per truck and I don't think that I'm that
exceptional as a ice cream truck vendor from the ground.
"You Don't
Have To Quit Your Current Job"
A lot of
ice cream vendors only work
weekends, some only work events, start part time and keep their own jobs. It's
really up to you.
There
aren't very many businesses that
you can set your own hours in but I'll tell you, the ice cream truck
business is one of them.
Here
are ways to tweak your truck out for different times of the day
depending on when you want to work and I'll show you exactly how.
It's easy, in fact...
"If You Can Brush Your Own Teeth You Can
Make Money In The Ice Cream Truck, It's Simple"
The
ice cream vending business is easy
work. It's not technical and it's not complicated and anybody
can learn to do it in just a matter of a few hours.
Plus, it's really not hard work. Once
you've got everything ready in the morning it takes about 30 or
40 minutes to set up your truck. After that, until you get really
busy, it's a pretty relaxing job.
People are usually in a really good
mood when they get ice cream, especially if you make them feel
good and put a little smile
on their face. You can be animated and have a good time in
your business.
Not only is that the best way to be, it's
the way that's going to make you the most money.
People who buy
ice cream from an ice cream truck vendor want to be cheered up. They want to be reminded of
old times when things were better. And nothing's better than
buying good tasting ice cream from an ice cream for a lot of
people. Sometimes it's the highest point of their day. That makes
everybody happy so...
"This Is One Low Stress
Business!"
The
ice cream truck business isn't
emotionally or mentally challenging. It's a low stress business.
I'll tell you; everyday when I would go to work in the ice cream
truck
business I was happy.
I have never worried
about corporate pressures, politics, who was going to stab me in the
back today, if I was going to perform well enough, if I was going to
sell enough, if I could make all the demands of my boss,
all
that was gone.
It's a low stress
job where you can just have fun and show out. You
don't have anybody breathing down your neck or anybody that you have
to listen to. There are no expectations you have to meet and it
couldn't be anything that could be lower stress.
Best of all...
"You NEVER Have To Work With A
Jerk"
In the
ice cream truck business you get
to choose who you work with. Boy, this was a big one for me. I
worked for awhile in a job just before I started my first ice cream
truck business where I worked around people that I really
didn't like
and people that really didn't like me.
|
"It's Great In The Rushes |
But I had no choice. I had to have
a job; I had a wife and kids to feed, but not anymore. Now I make my
own decisions and you can too.
Today I have a strict
NO Assholes
rule!
When you start your own
ice cream truck
business you'll make more money probably, than you're making right
now and you get to choose who you work with or nobody at
all.
If you just want to be a solo act
that's
okay. If you want to work with other people you can hand pick them,
either way you decide to go know this...
How
do you upsell on an Ice Cream Truck?
I
will share with you the secret that brought me up to an extra $200
a day that 95% of ice cream truck drivers don't know, or won't tell
you!
In
this course I hold absolutely nothing back. I'll give you ALL my
secrets to success in this business.
"Ice
Cream Trucks Are BIG Business"
Believe me, once people see you making a
lot of money in the ice cream truck business they're going to be more
and more people that want to come help you.
It's one of the great things about the
business. You can choose who you want to work with. You're in total
and complete control.
Plus, lastly, the
ice cream truck business
leads to bigger and better things. For me in the ice cream truck
business, I've had the privilege to work with a lot of people in
catering businesses, other ventures.
You meet people every day that you use to
network and joint venture with depending on what kind of
business they're in.
The fact is...
"Everybody
LOVES Good Ice Cream"
Everybody loves
ice cream and if you think
hard enough there's a way to incorporate ice cream into almost any
type of business. I'll show you more than a dozen ways to make
extra money from your ice cream truck business that you would never
think of.
The main reason I offer extras is they
pay 100% of my overhead. When I go out and sell ice cream from my
truck, everything that I'm selling is 100% profit. It's one of the
big secrets that you need to learn in this business. Most
vendors leave that money on the table. Even
still...
It's Hard To Go Broke
Selling Ice Cream
But many
under-perform, they go on with their businesses and barley
get by or worse yet, manage poorly and go broke.
I have to admit
something, I suck as a
manager. I have always run my businesses by the seat of my
pants and I've almost always made money.
Why?
Because I know how to
stir up so much business it doesn't matter if I am a bit wasteful
here or there.
Learn to market and you'll never
be broke! Truer words where never spoken. And it just
keeps getting better...
"I Trade
Ice Cream for FREE Stuff"
There's one last great benefit of
being in the ice cream business, free stuff. I've traded ice
cream
for almost everything you could imagine. I'm usually working in
areas where there are businesses around me, both industrial and
commercial, and they always have stuff.
I noticed that if I gave them free
ice cream they brought me back free stuff and when the ice cream only
cost me a dime or a quarter it really was cool to get back valuable
goods and services for free. This is one of the perks of the
business and I'll show you how it works in my bartering section.
Ok, I know your excited, now I have some
GREAT news for you...
So What do you Need
to Succeed in the Ice Cream business?
You need to really enjoy
children, and love the excitement they bring. Kids are your
clients, and you're the ice cream man...about as close to a real life
superhero as you can get.
You also need people
skills. If you have both of these, then the ice cream truck
business could definitely be for you. Why in the world should you
use people skills for some soulless corporate giant like Wal-Mart
for $7.50 an hour when you could possibly be doing up to $100 an hour in
business while enjoying your life and making others happy?
The
rest I'll teach you in this course, and I'll teach you
everything I've learned from trial and error to make the
most profitable ice cream truck possible.
Now You Can Become an Expert In The
Ice Cream Truck
Business Virtually Overnight
After being asked a gillion
times in the past I finally have put down everything that I know
about the ice cream truck business into a 100+ page eBook.
Complete with menus, forms, menus ads...etc
Ice Cream Truck Secrets is
by far the most complete and street wise book on the ice cream truck
business ever created and the good news is it's available for a
limited time in electronically deliverable e-book format.
That means with instant
delivery you can be reading it in just about 3 minutes if you
click the big orange button near the bottom of this page
now.
First you should
know...
"Why I Would
Share My Trade Secrets"
First, the
ice cream truck business was my
spring board to other business success and I feel like I owe
it to entrepreneurs to share what I have earned.
Sounds
corny, I know, but when you see in a minute how little I make
from each book you'll realize this has to be a labor of
love.
I like you, I like
entrepreneurs!
Secondly, 'I've seen a lot of people out
there that are selling products on how to start your own ice cream
truck business. So I decided before I put a product out I probably
should order some of them and see what they really had to say. Man
was I surprised...
"Because
All The Other Courses SUCK"
The First Lame
Course was published by a guy who had obviously
never, ever owned a ice cream truck business in his life. He was just
an information publisher who came along and decided he was going to
try to turn a quick buck. As it turns out he actually was a car
dealer from some town down south. I actually got a hold of him
eventually and tried to talk to him but he hung up on me.
The
Second Lame Course that I got at least was written by a guy
who had been in the ice cream truck business but didn't know much
about passing on information. Plus, it was very, very basic, just
the basics of how to scoop ice cream pretty much, and a few
other tips. He was selling it for almost 30 bucks. I couldn't
believe he got that much out of just a few sheets of paper.
The
Third Lame Course
that I got was just a bunch of filler and fluff about businesses and
business plans, and start up taxes, and how to name your business,
and a bunch of crap like that that I just call filler or fluff. I
finally just threw it in the trash can. It didn't have anything to
do with the ice cream truck business at all.
Well, after all that, I decided there was
definitely room for a quality product teaching people all the ins
and outs of the ice cream truck business and that's exactly what
I've put together. Here's just a little of what's covered in my
course...
| |
Big Secret #1 Location,
Location, Location
I'll teach you the single biggest success
factor in this business, location. You'll learn
about:
I'll teach you how to secure each of
these different type locations so that you can expand and decide
where you want to put your first business and where to expand your
business to once you've gotten started...
I'll teach you how to crush your
competitors without spending a single penny in advertising.
You will learn,
scripted, exactly what you need to say when people walk up to
your truck to get the maximum sale from them. I'll teach you my free
sampling technique that is the only money that I've ever spent that
I really classify for advertising.
I'll teach you about bonuses, the bikini
method, and pea-cocking. And I can't tell you what that is until you
actually get inside the course because that's some of the real
inside information that doubled my income once I started using
it.
Big Secret #2 Selling
Quality Products
Ice Cream and Treats So Good They'll
Make
Your Tongue Slap You're Brains Out
I'm going to teach you exactly what
it takes to make the ice cream that will have customers
coming back every day.
Number One: I'm going to teach you about the ice cream experience. What you need to say and do to make sure
that your person, parent and child, has the best time getting their ice cream, ever.
It's Our Winning Menu |
We're going to talk about the types
of the ice cream treats you should sell and the ones that you should
never buy because they WON'T SELL. Certain novelty ice
cream treats outsell others eight to one!
I'll tell you what temperature to keep
them at, how to stock your coolers so that you can move faster when
you really get busy.
I'll teach you the
exact brands that you need to carry, what you should give away and
what you should sell for extra money. This is one of the areas that
is really overlooked by most ice cream vendors and on an average
day I can make 50 or 100 extra dollars a day per truck just in
add-ons.
Big
Secret #3 Winning
Add-On's & Upsells
"Super Size Me Baby,
This Ain't Mickey Dees!
I'm going to teach you what drinks to
sell, not just the canned sodas that you'll bring to the table and
there are three or four that do extremely well, I'm also going to
teach you about two homemade drinks that I've been selling
for years that outsell the bottles and the cans two to one, and the
profit margins are enormous.
To give you an idea, my costs on one are
as little as five cents as cup.
|
"I Kick Butt With PREMIUM |
Next we're going to talk about chips,
candies,
snacks and other treats that add on. You'll want to know the two brands of chips that
I sell and I promise you they're not the ones that you think.
They're
not the big national brands, the Lay's or the Frito's in the
world. I sell two brands of chips that have, over time, performed
better for me than any of the national brands and I'll explain
exactly why.
I'll talk about exactly how to handle
your cash, what to do with your money, how to price your
products and how to make change. Believe me, when you've got 20
people standing in line waiting for ice cream you don't have time to
make change slowly.
People will usually only stay at your stand for five or ten minutes
and then they'll just turn around and leave. If you don't learn how
to serve ice cream quickly and make
change quickly you're going to lose and I'm going to teach you both.
You'll be able to serve ice cream and make change like a pro by
the time you finish this course.
I'm going to teach you all about
equipment, exactly what kind of truck you're going to need and where
to get it, and the one big feature that is absolutely necessary to
have on your truck or you'll regret it forever. As a matter of fact,
if you don't get this feature on your truck when you first buy it, I
promise you, you'll want to sell that truck and trade up within 30
days.
Big
Secret #4 Finding Cheap Equipment & Supplies
"Friends Don't
Let Friends Pay Retail"
I'll Show You Where To |
Seriously, I'll attach a list of suppliers that I've been working
with forever. I'll list for you all the suppliers of ice cream
trucks and supplies in the country and outside the US. I've actually
bought several ice cream trucks from over seas and I'll hook you up
with my connections around the world.
The
last few trucks that I've bought I've paid less than $1,500 each.
I'll go through a laundry list of every other start up supply that
you should need. They should add up to no more than $300 to $500 to get
started, for everything.
Big
Secret #5 Making The Regulators Love You
"Johnny Law
and The Food Police"
Next
we'll talk about the nitty,
gritty stuff: fire laws, licenses, and permits. You should
expect to spend a couple of hundred dollars on these but I'll tell
you exactly which ones you need, which ones you don't and how to
please all the officials that you have to deal with during the
day.
We'll talk about things like liability
insurance that is really only necessary if you're doing big venues
or contracts somewhere.
Lastly
we'll talk about employees, salary
versus commission, whether you should pay your people bonuses for
what they sell or not, and if you're paying them salary, exactly how
much to pay.
Big
Secret #5 Finding Great Employees & Partners
"88
Employees That Sucked & Three That Didn't"
Next I'll tell you about where I find
great employees. I've got a secret little honey hole that I found
that's worked out just extremely well for me and after years and
years of bad employees and big mistakes that have cost me tons and
tons of money it really was a God send and about time.
Then
we'll talk about leases and
subcontracts. This is the way that I handle most of my ice cream
trucks business right now.
Now I strictly work with lease and
subcontract partners and it's a great way to be in this business.
Most days I never leave my house. I just sit by the pool and wait
for people to call me and tell me how much money I made today.
"Please Don't
Be One Of These I'll
Do It My Self
Schmucks"
I know you might be thinking,
"Boy, if
this business is so simple why do I need a big long course about
it?" Why? Because this business is competitive and there are a lot
of mistakes that you can make in it.
Your biggest competitor is you. Making
big mistakes. That's the only way you can really get in trouble in
this business is just by doing things that are incredibly stupid.
Some you're going to think of on your
own, granted, and the information that I give you you're going to
go, "Duh?"
But some are going to be pretty cool to
find out. Some are going to be things you would never think about.
Some are going to be the extra little pieces that helped my make an
extra $20,000, $30,000, to $40,000 a year in this
business.
I love the
ice cream truck business! It's allowed
me to have a profitable, exciting career in business. I meet tons of
terrific people and there is a sense of pride in knowing that I've
actually built a business on my own.
And I promise you, if you don't
have it right now, the security of owning your own business, being
able to go out and make your own money without somebody standing
over your shoulder is one of the greatest things in the world. Just
ask these guys...
Unless Your Serious About Starting Your Own Ice Cream Truck
Please Stop Reading Here and Leave
I have to be frank. Owning an
ice cream truck will probably never make you a
millionaire. I'm not going to blow a bunch of get rich quick smoke
up your butt here.
Truth is, the ice cream
truck
business is a real business and DOES provide a lot of people with
a great income. Some part time and some full time.
That being said, I have met
owners of multiple ice cream trucks (everybody starts with one) that
have actually went on to build fortunes owning other locations or
reinvesting their profits in other businesses like me.
So,
whether you just want to make a few thousand extra dollars of
build a big major fortune the ice cream truck could be your ticket. How
much will you make? Let's take a look...
Trucks: | Sales a Day: | Average Ticket: | Daily Sales: | Monthly Sales: |
1 | 50 | $6.00 | $300 | $6600 |
2 | 50 | $6.00 | $600 | $13,400 |
1 | 75 | $6.00 | $450 | $9,900 |
2 | 75 | $6.00 | $900 | $18,900 |
(*NOTE: As with any
business, your results may vary, and will be based on your
individual effort. See Disclaimer)
Please keep in mind these are
reasonable sales estimates. Remember these are gross
sales numbers and you will have expenses.
Your profits
will vary based on how efficiently you run your business. This is
EXACTLY why most ice cream vendors want to keep their
hidden profit center under wraps and why you need good information
going in to be successful.

And
I want to take this time to say Congratulations for taking
the effort to move forward and do something productive. I talk to a
lot of people that want to start businesses, and I try to help by
giving them advice but they go on about their way and they just
never actually do anything. There's a great quote that 50% of
success is just showing up.
So,
once you get started I really encourage you to go out there, get
your feet wet, and get moving in the business.
I
think you're really going to find out that you'll love it.
Congratulations, and welcome to the ice cream world.
P.S. I
realize this offer might not be for you. After all, some people
would rather be sheep heading to the slaughter house, and the world
needs ditch diggers. Many people would rather let someone else boss
them around rather than make an effort, and if that's you, then hey,
enjoy the march.
P.S.S. This
letter really is about you and not me. Tonight I grill steaks, hear
about my kids' days at private school, and watch the game on a
plasma TV. I'm trying to help you out, and this is about you,
because either way I'm doing fine.
